MA Studio Professional software for motion analysis Windows 95 / 98 / NT / 2000 / XP

Motion analysis consists of viewing in slow motion very rapid scenes, and quantifying image by image, varied phenomena in order to analyze the movement of objects. This can be applied to the study of ultra-rapid phenomena such as automobile crash-tests, explosions, vibrations, and physical or biological phenomena. MA Studio has been designed to extract quantitative data from sequences of images obtained via a high-speed digital camera (Redlake, Dalsa,…), when the phenomena to be studied needs a high decomposition rate (up to 10,000 images /sec.), or via a standard or specialized camera with programmable shutter for the study of slower phenomena. The software structure also allows installation of additional external plug-in modules for simple and common processing and analysis functions such as thresholding, averaging, measuring and quantifying.

Utilisation

MA Studio allows viewing of sequences of digital images including TIFF, BMP, AVI, TIFF Kodak and Bayer format stored on internal or external devices (hard disk, opto-magnetic disk, CD ROM...). The user can create markers (points, lines, angles, areas) and place them on the image in order to determine the evolution of movement during the sequence of images. Several measurements are made on the objects, to precisely follow the movement and obtain reliable information. The results are presented in multiple graph formats.

Functions

MA Studio integrates a graphical interface with a set of simplified functions for optimizing each step of the motion analysis.
