VICOSYS
Whenever
test objects have to be inspected from a variety of viewpoints and the
image data centrally processed, VICOSYS multi-camera systems are the right
choice.
VICOSYS works via Ethernet, USB or RS-232, with the standard VICOREM remote
control code protocol. The images acquired are saved in the digital camera
memory and read by the VICOSYS system as required. This ensure high vision
acquisition data security, also when using several cameras.
The VICOSYS Machine Vision system is based on an industrially compatible
embedded PC, requiring no fan or moving parts, running under LINUX.

| PICTOR
d'évaluation allant jusqu'à 110 i/s.
With their powerful
performance and wide range of models available, PICTOR smart cameras are
used in all branches of the industry. Compact, robust and equipped with
industrial connectors, PICTOR smart cameras reliably run test programs
stand-alone, without the need of an external computer, under a digital
signal processor architevìcdture, react to events, control actuators
and send result. PICTOR is quick, and can process up to 110 images per
second – hence time-critical applications can also be mastered.
Thanks to decades of refinement, the PICTOR model range has a large range
of functions, enabling it to deal with complex tasks via structured programming,
bus connection for networking, and making robot vision possible.
The model spectrum ranges from standard to high resolution, up to high
speed and from B/W to colour. The choice of the appropriate PICTOR system
contributes to price optimisation.
The extensive range of functions available is decisively in favour of
PICTOR when compared to other smart cameras. This leads to both time savings
and greater reliability in the solution produced, also from the range
of alternate possibilies available by using different commands to solve
the same problem. Purchase of software extension packages is not necessary |

The
new S24 series allows the inspection of up to 20 parts per second. This
clearly demonstrates the superior capabilities of compact Machine Vision
sensors, compared with simple optical sensors such as light barriers,
as they are based on Machine Vision algorithms.
The sensors are accommodated in a compact, robust housing and comprise
a DSP-based Machine Vision unit, a matched and pre-set lens as well as
a fine-tuned LED ring light. With the choice of the following functions
installed at the factory, the standard hardware can deal with the following
tasks:
• Pattern matching sensor
• Measurement control sensor
• Position sensor
• Roundness sensor
• Angle sensor
Image acquisition is based on a CCD chip, which can resolve detail down
to 0.05 mm, allowing the achievement of high precision. The full-frame
shutter employed automatically adjusts to the ambient lighting. Various
fields of view, as well as lighting from a range of colours, round off
the universal adaptation of the S24 to different conditions.
S24 Machine Vision sensors are controlled via a trigger input and an input
for the program mode. Outputs for ‘Part OK’, ‘Part not
OK’, as well as ‘Ready’, simplify integration into the
automation equipment. Discreet results can be sent for further processing
to the upstream control units via RS 232 or Ethernet interfaces. The user
is guided through the set-up of the Machine Vision sensor by use of LEDs,
so that installation is taken care of within a few minutes. One of the
most well-known and universal operating interfaces for Machine Vision,
the VCWin user interface looks after the simple commissioning and amendment
of parameters.
The new S24 series Machine Vision sensors are an inexpensive, uncomplicated
and rapid way of getting into Machine Vision for a large group of users
who, up until now, have only used simple optical sensors.
The PICTOR
M24, Vision & Control’s youngest offspring from the Smart Camera
class, offers a highly compact package with a superior range of functions
and at an uncommonly favourable price.
The M24 is based on established PICTOR technology and can be integrated
into far-reaching automation environments of all different types via the
standardised VICOREM remote control code.
The robust mechanical construction of the PICTOR M24 protects it from
vibration and impact. The CS-mount lens connection, with the aid of a
5mm extension ring, enables the use f C-mount lenses.
The PICTOR M24 is suitable for time and cost-effective solution of tasks
involving visual presence and completeness inspection as well as for measurement
tasks. Up to 10 parts / s can be inspected, also with rapidly moving objects.
The transfer of image data from the M24 is achieved via the RS-232
interface.

VCWin
Signifie Teach-in sous WINDOWS.
Vision & Control
Machine Vision systems are indipendent of your processor architecture,
capability or complexity. They are parametrised rather than programmed
– with a user interface that is universal applicable to all the
systems. Simply install VCWin on a PC and new applications can be parametrised
or already existing applications tested or altered. It does not matter
which system is used, whether smart camera or multi-camera system, whether
colour or B/W, whether connected to a network or stand-alone, the user
interface is always the same – VCWin.
Instead of cumbersome and time-consuming compiler and link programs, a
mouse click is all you need for intuitively and interactively putting
together a test program. With VCWin, C code programming becomes a thing
of the past.
The strict separation between operation and Machine Vision processing
rules out incomparability problems right from the start: operation takes
place on the familiar PC interface, the Machie Vision on processors specifically
designed for the job. VCWin uses the universal “language”
of all Vision & Control Machine Vision systems: the VICOREM remote-control
interface.
VCWin makes the development of user-interfaces and operating routines
completely superfluous. Instead of wasting time writing individual user-interfaces,
the user can solve the Machine Vision application directly. The test program
is rapidly and effectively parameterised. Machine Vision can be started
immediately after installing VCWin and connecting the components to the
Ethernet or serial interface. |
