Scorpion is an independent and open software tool for industrial vision.

The system gives the end-user the ease of use of a vision-sensor and still the flexibility and power of a custom vision-pc system. The system is founded on top of a standard Windows 2000 / XP PC platform - thus providing a non-dead-end alternative to: Intelligent Sensors, Smart Cameras, Vision Sensors and custom Vision Systems - One Solution for all Vision Systems.
It is very cost-effective benefitting from the processing power of the Intel processors, low cost - high quality firewire cameras and the possibility of connecting multiple cameras to one PC. Scorpion solves applications like quality control, gauging, identification, robot guiding and assembly verification without any programming.
Version 4.1 is packed with new features and details making it easier to develop and maintain robust Machine Vision systems. Every single feature is specified, implemented, tested and verified based on experience obtained on the factory floor.
