SCHOTT-FOSTEC, LLC offers DC-regulated halogen light sources for the Machine Vision market and AC halogen light sources for Microscopy and Machine Vision markets, depending on your application requirements. A wide variety of accessories and options are available for each FOSTEC® brand light source to help you customize the product for a specific project.

KL 1500 LCD A benchmark in the field of 150-Watt AC light sources. KL 2500 LCD Performance leader in AC light sources. Twice the amount of light given out by the Schott KL 1500 LCD. - Easy of use, it is supplied with a filter wheel, which accommodates up to five insert filters. Filter selection is as simple as a turn of the knob - Electronic accessories, such as remote control, RS-232 or tilt switch, can be connected to the front panel of the device enabling light source operation in difficult access areas - With the modified collet chuck, light guides up to 15-mm fiber bundle diameter can be used with optimum results. FLEXIBLE LIGHT GUIDES
When your application requires versatility in routing and positioning of light, flexible bundles are the answer. Choose from single, dual, or quad configurations in a variety of active input fiber diameters and overall assembly lengths. For microscopy applications requiring uniform spot illumination, we offer randomized bundles as standard products. Furthermore, the dual and quad randomized bundles were designed to be interchangeable; they maintain light intensity within 10% bundle to bundle and 5% leg to leg.

ANNULAR RINGLIGHTS
Our ringlights provide high intensity, uniform, and shadow-free illumination in a compact ring configuration. For your ease of use, our unique clamping systems allow the ringlights to fit most microscopes and camera objectives without the use of adapters. Choose from a range of sizes for an optimum fit. Accessories include color filters, polarizers, analyzers, diffusers, and reflector rings. Modifications and custom configurations can be made to the ringlights to meet your unique design specifications. All ringlights are available as standard products.

LIGHTLINES
Uniform lines of light are critical for machine vision and inspection system applications. SCHOTT fiber optic lightlines (25.4 mm to 406.4 mm) with optional lenses and polarizer kits provide the uniformity you need. When you require a longer lightline, we offer our patented spatially randomized lightlines in 609.6 mm to 1016 mm standard sizes and can custom build other sizes up to approximately 2540 mm. Spatial randomization is a manufacturing process designed to allow light from each input to be distributed over the length of the line, rather than a section of the line. All our lightline products can be modified to meet your unique design requirements.
