Backlights
Schott-Fostec Backlights are particularly recommended for applications such as inspection, imaging and Machine Vision. They can be used for opaque material inspection, edge detection or as a diffuse light source.
With their slim profile - typically under 1"/25.4mm - these backlights are very versatile.

Bright, uniform light, calibrated to + - 10 gray scale levels at a mean of 200

Ringlights
Fostec Ringlights provide you with high intensity, uniform, shadow-free illumination in a compact ring configuration. For ease of use the unique clamping systems fits most microscopes and camera objectives. These ringlights accept a full range of daylight and color filters, polarizer/analyzers and input diffusers.

Uniform lines of light are critical for machine vision and inspection system applications. Foster fiber optic lightlines and optional lenses provide them for you.
